The rooms are warm enough and en suite here with the bedroom and comfy bed plus balloons. I would stay here again, liked this place.

The spot is perfectly situated within a short walk to the town center and the hotel, and I enjoyed some beverages at the Winking Owl gastropub just a 5-minute stroll from here.

Barman who showed me to my room was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, and the waitress who took my order and then served me was very pleasant, friendly, polite and cheery.
When I arrived there was no-one at reception and no means of calling staff (no bell, buzzer or advice on what to do). Fellow guest told me I was quite likely to wait a while for assistance. Eventually I asked at the bar; barman showed me to my room. Clean and tidy, but mould on the walls in corners. Furnishings looked a bit haphazard. Central heating not working - there was a free-standing convector heater in front of the radiator, but it hadn't been turned on. One of two reading lights above bed minus its shade. Hospitality tray provided, but no cups - had to ask for one at the bar. Hinges of lid of kettle broken - lid fell off when pouring and hand mildly scalded by escaping steam.

Everything was really good, particularly good location so close to the centre, a near coffee shop and center of town above the pub, really helpful staff. The room we booked was en suite and cosy in the mattresses.

Its a great location in centre of Aviemore, friendly staff/service and good value for money.

No fuss. On main street. Warm rooms. Nice that pub is just downstairs if you want some night life. I liked the fried breakfast.
When checking in the first thing we were asked was to pay. No real welcome or 'How are you' but think they were busy at the time, lady next morning was warm and friendly howevere. Also having the bar downstairs was a double edged sword, that Karaoke on Sunday night carried right into our room until almost 1am - maybe should have joined in myself. Walls also very thin on our room as we could easily hear the guys in the next room talking after that, so not a great nights sleep that night although next night a very quiet night and good nights sleep. Wireless didn't work well when we were there but could have been the bad weather.

Could be a bit noisy at night for some people - did not bother us.
